The son of Jim Henson, in 1969 Brian appeared on Sesame Street's first episode in a segment directed by his father, about the number three. He has been deeply involved in the family business ever since, and in 2003, along with his siblings, he reacquired The Jim Henson Company from a German conglomerate.
