Biographical Notes & TriviaBirthday: 19 June 1962 (Sydney, NSW, Australia) (Note: Virginia's birthyear is unconfirmed; she refers to herself as "37 forever".) Height: 5' 11" (1.80 m) Virginia spent her childhood in both Australia and London, before being "discovered" by a modeling agent while waiting at a bus stop in Sydney, enroute to art school; she went on to a high-profile modeling career before embarking on an acting career. Virginia left Farscape in the third season, after the accumulated stress of two years of makeup began to take a toll on her health. The constant shaving of hair and eyebrows had also made the role increasingly difficult. Since leaving the show, she has begun leading workshops in meditation and metaphysics, pursuing a personal interest in natural therapies and spiritualism.
